Condition Survey of a 18 storey concrete panelled tower in London
Concerns were raised in regards to loose or spalling concrete, We were utilised in the survey and "make safe" work scope. We identified defects, recorded them and removed loose material from the building.
Challenge
Due to there being no shelter from the elements on this tower, We were continually assessing the weather and wind. Acting sensibly and in line with our Rope Access Operations Procedure we completed works safely.
As the Towers front elevation is directly on a busy road exclusion zones and signage were used to prevent access by third parties.
Value
To of had this tower scaffolded would of run into the £100ks. We access and carried out the survey safely for a fraction of the cost and time frame.
